PEOPLE - Looking for work?

yes2work is a free job broking service for people who are out of work because of illness or disability. yes2work has been set up to run according to social firm principles. It is, therefore, a 'not for profit' organisation that aims to employ a significant number of disabled people. This is in addition to helping people with disabilities or illnesses with employment problems generally.

Confidential benefits advice

Many people on Incapacity Benefits and related benefits need to be careful in considering benefit implications of returning to work. Yes2work can help you find out the relevant information, help you estimate the financial impact of part-time work, full-time work, or what ever arrangements are relevant to you. The last thing we want to do is to lead you into a situation where you will be worse off. It is therefore important to find out what the rules are and how they will affect you. This is particularly important for anyone who is disabled or who is recovering from a lengthy illness. Some benefits would still be payable after you find work, other benefits will cease and yet others that are not available to you now may become payable once you are in work. It is also important to know what happens if the job does not work out. Again we will be able to tell you what the rules are.
